FLAME celebrated its 35th anniversary on France Musique

On April 11, 2026, FLAME celebrated the 35th anniversary of its competition in collaboration with France Musique during the live broadcast of Clément Rochefort’s program “Générations France Musique” at Studio 105. An audience of 250 people gave a warm round of applause.

Dates : April 14-16 avril, 2025

Location : Schola Cantorum, 269 rue Saint Jacques, 75005 Paris

Instrument: cello

Age: from 6 to 26 years old.

Winners' concert: Wednesday April 16, César Franck concert hall, Schola Cantorum.


Registrations for the 34th “FLAME” competition will be open from October 15, 2024.
As the number of participants is limited, the competition reserves the right to refuse registrations.

CONCERT "FLAME" in ROME, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st 2024

In collaboration with the "Concerti del Tempietto" at TEATRO MARCELLO.

Concert by the young laureates of the FLAME competition:

PIANO MASTERCLASS BY EMILE NAOUMOFF

Location: Schola Cantorum

Four young pianists from the FLAME competition have been selected:

The Masterclass is semi-private and will be followed by a mini-concert featuring the participants at the Association's Headquarters on Sunday, July 7.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024!

 

The FLAME Association has decided that the FLAME Competition in 2024 will not take place due to the challenges arising during the Olympic Games period and the inaccessibility of the CRR premises, which will be under construction.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank all those who have already contacted FLAME for information regarding the 2024 competition. Details about the 2025 competition will be announced at a later date.

However, the FLAME Association has ongoing educational projects and concerts.

Upcoming events include:

  • A concert this spring in Normandy

  • A Piano Master-Class at the end of June in Paris

  • A concert at the end of August in Rome at the Teatro Marcello.
