Prizes
All the participants will receive a diploma and awards.
• From 96 to 100 points : candidates with the highest score participate in winners’ concert and receive the following award:
SPECIAL PRIZE GROUP 1 (9 to 13 years) : 200 €
SPECIAL PRIZE GROUP 2 (14 to 18 years) : 300 €
SPECIAL PRIZE GROUP 3 (19 to 25 years) : 500 €
PRIZE "COUP DE COEUR FLAME" : 600 € & concert
• From 70 to 95 points : diploma with grades.
• Under 70 points : certificate of participation.
Rules
1. The competition is open to all candidates of cello from 9 to 25 years old.
2. The competition is open to candidates of all nationalities.
3. The number of participants is capped. Therefore, the organizers may unfortunately refuse applications once this number is exceeded
4. The invitation shall be sent by e-mail (or by postal mail in case of postal application)
5. The registration fees cannot be refunded.
6. It is recommended that the participants come with their accompanist. FLAME can suggest a list of pianists (at the candidates's charge). Interested candidates should send their request before May 23rd 2026. Candidates without accompanist wil not be allowed to perform.
7. All the rounds are open to the public.
8. The jury has the right not to grant all the prizes.
9. The decisions of the jury cannot be appealed.
10. Winners selected by the jury must play at the concert following the announcement of the results. In case of no-show at the concert the prize shall not be granted.
11. The jury has the right to interrupt an execution.
12. Candidates are expected to organize and be responsible for their travel and accomodation.
